PROFLEX Membrane Diffuser is manufactured using high Grade EPDM rubber, Silicon and Viton. Rows of perpendicular “I” slits expand to produce fine bubbles then contracts immediately itself when air supply is stopped. This flexibility ensures tear-free operation. The diffuser gives all the advantages of a higher oxygen transfer efficiency and trouble free operation with ease of installation and low maintenance. Ideal for use in industrial and Municipal applications, and can be easily fitted to pipe-work of varying diameters. The Design of the slits prevent the ingress of water into the air distribution system in the event of blower failure. EPDM Membranes are widely used for STP applications whereas , the assembly can be fitted with a silicone membrane for use in more aggressive conditions.
